Our Founder, Dr. Yonnicka
Youniquely Arranged was founded by Dr. Yonnicka, a designer, educator, poet, speaker, and healer at heart. Her story begins in Kingston, Jamaica, where she was born and raised surrounded by a vibrant church community. This is where her passion was ignited and nurtured from the very start.
In 2005, she moved to Queens, New York, a life-changing step that opened new doors for her calling, where she stepped into the world of healthcare, becoming a Lead Respiratory Therapist, Supervisor, and Clinical Instructor. But even beyond her clinical work, Yonnicka found her deeper ministry: breathing life into those she cared for, both physically and spiritually. She became known not only for her medical skill but for her encouragement and presence as a Spiritual Ambassador among patients and colleagues.
Yonnicka’s passion for healing didn’t stop there. She poured her heart into her creative gifts of designing, liturgical dancing, poetry, and floral artistry — founding Youniquely Arranged and later Breathe Life Ministries. Through these outlets, she helps others find, nurture, and use their gifts to heal, rise above adversity, and step into a purposeful, intentional life.
She also walks with women facing difficult seasons, including abuse, loss, or mental health struggles through The Healing Bridge, a ministry of compassionate support and spiritual nurture.
